Photonet Magazine (korea) asked me to write a christmas card to artist
friends but I had no one to write so I just picked up my top two
favorite artists, Roger Ballen (photographer) and Michael Haneke (film
director). Photonet probably expected me to make a pretty, small and
lovely card. When I sent this off to them, the first thing they said
was, 'well... it doesn't look warm'
Anyway, it's printed out now and they said mine was the best yay. I didn't know it was for 2 big spread pages with one full-size photo
that I wanted to show to them as a christmas present along with the
card. Originally, I put a small polaroid photo next to my new stamp
logo but had to remove it because in the photo, i was half naked,
opened my mouth wide and my face was scratched a lot with the same blue
colour pencil. (grandpas might've been shocked)
the attached photo is buddist percussion falling into a garbage bin. I
thought it was quite funny for the christmas celebration, plus the
doodle on the wall homage.

- Tira la sal (drop salt) is a collective project based on the expression of intimacy,
- materialyzed in an exhibition gathering 12 international young photographers under
- a Leitmotiv: luck, chance. Each photograph contains a magically-touched-object,
- motif or symbol, which is exhibited beside the picture into a glass cabinet.
- At the other side hangs a manuscript revealing the reasons why and how this amulet
